As a realtor, I truly love and appreciate homes of all kinds, shapes and sizes—their character, their beauty, their history, their uniqueness. It’s also what I love about my clients. I work closely with my clients to really get to know them, and help find the perfect home that fits their needs, and completes their story.
As for my story, I have two amazing teenagers in high school. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. Born in Michigan, I grew up in Florida and worked there for many years in the hospitality industry. But my Michigan roots and desire for my kids to grow up in a friendly, smalltown atmosphere pulled me back home once again to the mitten. I moved to Battle Creek and worked many long hours as a successful sales rep for Norman Foods, which unfortunately left little time to spend at home with my kids. In 2014, my love for home and family inspired me to make another change—to go back to school and pursue my degree and long-time dream of becoming a Realtor. It was the best decision I could have made. Today, I truly love my job! I now have the freedom to spend more time with my own family as I help others find and acquire the home of their dreams, making good investments for their future. It’s where my heart is, and that makes all the difference.
I proudly joined Troxel Realty Co. LLC in 2015 and have been active ever since in the real estate industry, serving on numerous committees of the Battle Creek Association of Realtors (BCAAR). In 2016, I was named Rookie of the Year, and also became an association board director. In 2018, I was voted President elect, served as the BCAAR President throughout 2019, and currently remain active on the board. Most recently, I was named 2019 Realtor of the Year by my peers within the Battle Creek Association of Realtors. Needless to say, I have a passion for being involved in my community and industry. I also believe if you love what you do, it shows in your work—and my clients agree.
I believe in making face-to-face connections. In a world of technology and cookie-cutter services, I work hard to truly build and maintain relationships with the people and communities I serve throughout Calhoun County. I believe honesty, integrity, down-to-earth friendliness, and a no-nonsense approach are traits that set me apart, and will help me deliver the best results in buying or selling your home. Together, we can make the story of your home a happy one.
